Don’t wait for a breakdown to start caring about laser machine maintenance.
Just 10 minutes a day ensures greater machine stability and a longer service life.
✅ Daily
• Clean the protective/focusing lens: First, blow away dust, then wipe with lens tissue and anhydrous ethanol. Never touch the lens with your bare hands.
• Check the water chiller: Verify water level, water temperature, alarm status, and filter screens.
• Check the gas system: Monitor gas pressure, drain any accumulated moisture, and inspect for leaks.
• Clear debris from the work table and ensure the exhaust/fume extraction system is functioning properly.
✅ Weekly
• Clean the guide rails and racks, then apply lubricant.
• Check belt tension and inspect for any loose screws.
• Clean the fans and heat sinks in the control cabinet.
• Inspect the exhaust ducting and filter elements.
✅ Monthly
• Replace the water and clean the water tank (follow the manufacturer’s manual).
• Check grounding, electrical cables, and the laser module.
• Record power, current, and processing results; investigate any anomalies promptly.
⚠️ Safety First: Disconnect power before maintenance, allow time for capacitors to discharge, wear protective eyewear, and never touch lenses directly.
Always refer to the manufacturer’s manual for specific maintenance intervals.
Remember: Keep lenses clean, maintain proper water temperature, ensure clear gas lines, keep guide rails lubricated, and ensure smooth exhaust flow.
